- Leaves peltate, small or mediumsized,
simple, entire, symmetric, with entire margin.
Attachment point of petiole to leaf blade is in the center
or slightly displaced toward leaf base. Venation
actinodromous and festooned-brochidodromous,
bilaterally-symmetric, with eight primary veins,
extending radially from the petiole attachment point.
The secondary and tertiary veins form a series of
polygonal loops decreasing in size towards the leaf
margin.
