Diagnosis
Dense, globose infructescences (capitula) borne in raceme-like arrangement (fig. 8A–8D, 8K, 8L). Capitula stalked to subsessile, ca. 10.8 mm in diameter. Lateral branches (connecting capitula to the main inflorescence axis) ca. 5.3 mm long. Segments of the main axis between lateral branches are ca. 22.9 mm long. Individual achenes ca. 5.0 mm long, with achene hairs rising from base and extending more than the full length of the achene. Five to seven achenes present within a single achene bundle.
