Diagnosis
Pollen tricolporate with three alternating pseudocolpi (heteroaperturate), colpi longer than pseudocolpi, endopori circular as wide as colpi, pseudocolpi wide in SEM, sculpturing striate, striae parallel and running along the polar axis, sometimes irregularly arranged around pori, colpus membrane microrugulate to microverrucate, pseudocolpi rugulate to microechinate, sculptural elements densely packed in both colpi and pseudocolpi.
