Diagnosis
First-order axes 1.0– 1.2 mm wide and at least 200 mm long, with internodes being 11–13 mm long; second-order axes attached to first-order ones at angles of 45◦–85◦, 0.6–0.9 mm wide and up to 75 mm long, internodes 7–10 mm long; thirdorder axes inserted to second-order ones at 45◦–90◦, 0.5–0.7 mm wide and up to 25 mm long, internodes 5–7 mm long. Fertile appendages borne at 45◦–90◦ on third-order axes. Supporting axes of fertile appendages approximately 0.3mmwide at base and up to 6mmlong, isotomous four times, bearing 32 terminal sporangia. Sporangia erect or pendulous, 16 per cluster, ca. 0.2mm wide in middle part and 1.3–2.2 mm long. Axes of sterile appendages 0.5–0.7 mm wide at base and at least 15 mm long, dichotomous once or twice into recurved tips.
