- Diagnosis
- Fruit valve bisymmetrical, foliaceous, membranous,
ovate or oblong. Base acute, apex round or retuse. Margin
delimited by a thick vein. Venation prominent, midvein weakly
zigzagging; secondary veins extended from margin with obtuse
angles of 100 to 160 degrees and joining the midvein with angles
decreasing distally; intersecondary veins present. Tertiary veins
percurrent and chevroned; quaternary veins mixed percurrent.
Areolation development moderate; freely ending veinlets once or
twice branched. There are 2–4 seeds per follicle.
