- Main axes, bearing lateral first-order branches, with conspicuous intervals between successive branching points. Fertile dichotomous branching systems attached both along the first-order branches and on the distal level of main axes. Sporangia, ca. 0.4 mm wide and ca. 1.3 mm long, and each sporangium terminating a very short branch. Spores circular to subcircular in outline, 46–70 μm in diameter, with thin, laevigate, and folded exine; with darkening at proximal pole; rays of trilete mark reaching 1/2–2/3 of spore radius.
