Diagnosis
Small, solid and homocellular pith. Primary xylem endarch. Homoxylic secondary xylem,with growth rings. Araucarian radial pitting, uniseriate to triseriate. Xylem rays uniseriate, short tomedium (1–6 cells high). Cupressoid cross-fields showing 4–6 oculipores.
