- Diagnosis
- The fruit is a five- or six-loculed compound drupe, cylindrically elongated, ellipsoid or subglobose, with 5—6 separable or partially fused nutlets, sometimes breaking up into pieces. The walls of segments are not clearly three-layered. The fruit is noticeably rugose with the knobby-reticulate surface. The calex is discoid with 5—6 ovate lobes. In each locule there is one flattened seed of crescents or half-moon shape, in distal regions acuminate, its surface minor-reticulate.
