- Diagnosis
- Indistinct growth rings, diffuse porous;
mostly solitary vessels, occasional pairs, scalariform perforation
plates with more than 40 bars; opposite to scalariform intervessel
pits; axial parenchyma apotracheal diffuse and diffuse
in aggregates; heterocellular uni-and multi (2 – 7) seriate rays;
nonseptate fi bers with minutely bordered pits; traumatic vertical
canals in tangential lines.
