- Diagnosis
- Plant with unisexual tetrasepalous
flowers borne in a compound cymose inflorescence. Stigmas
three or possibly four, prominently expanded. Fruit a capsule
of 3–4 valves. Leaves slender, serrate with glandular teeth and
pinnate venation with frequent intersecondary veins.
