Originally incorrectly given as "P. nathorstii (Schuster) Gros comb. nov."; the reference to exact place of validation of the fossil-species in 1931, not validly published by Schuster in 1910, is incomplete (not direct): "Caesalpinioxylon nathorstii (Schuster) Edwards 1931".
