- Diagnosis
- Cones pedunculate and monosporangiate with trilete
laevigate in situ megaspores with a developed subgula
in each megasporangium. Sporophylls are in low spirals
and consist of a deltoid pedicel and concave lateral laminae. A single sporangium is attached to the adaxial
surface of each sporophyll. Lateral lamina smoothmargined
and bent upwards with a heel formed at the
corner of the sporophyll. The in situ megaspores are of
the Sublagenicula nuda-type.
