- Diagnosis
- Foliage frond-like, branching opposite. Branches pinnate,
flattened, arising in the axils of lateral leaves. Leaves scalelike,
four-ranked, arising in whorls giving a distinct jointed
appearance to foliage. Facial leaves appressed; apex acuminate.
Lateral leaves lanceolate, decurrent, commonly falcate;
apex acute or attenuate, closely appressed to facial leaf.
