and in radial multiples of 2, simple perforation plates; alternate
polygonal, medium to large, intervessel pits, vessel-ray parenchyma
pits circular to elongated, with reduced borders; axial
parenchyma is vasicentric and scanty paratracheal and apotracheal
diffuse; heterocellular rays type IIA; nonseptate and septate
libriform fi bers.
