- Diagnosis
- Leaves simple, from nanophyll to notophyll,
length–width ratio from 3:1 to 4:1. Leaf lamina oblong-ovate or narrow
elliptical, with acute apex. Leaf margin from double-serrate to
less commonly simple serrate or dentate. Marginal teeth usually compound
with 1–3 smaller teeth on the basal side or simple, acute, narrow
to less commonly broadly triangular.
