Diagnosis
Leaves bipinnate. Pinnae linear-lanceolate, with attenuate apex, arising from the rachis alternately at about 50—60°. Adjacent pinnae typically separated by small gaps. Pinnules alternate, longtriangular or ovate-triangular, slightly curved, with acute apex and entire, waved or scarcely slightly lobed margin. In the lower part of pinnae, the bases of the pinnules are distinctly contracted on the acroscopic side and slightly contracted or decurrent on the basiscopic side. The pinnules towards apex of pinnae are relatively narrower and more acutely pointed, and attached to an axis by the whole base. The basal pinnules are always more broad and shorter, then the others, with distinctly contracted base, and often with a long blunt lobe on the basiscopic side. Venation of pinnules dichotomous, pinnate. The midrib nearly straight, bearing three to four branches from each side. Branches show a single divide in the middle portion. The branch which supplies the lobe of the basal pinnule, divides twice.
