- Diagnosis
- Persistent corolla pentamerous, actinomorphic.
Petals entirely margined, obovate; the bases widely
cuneate, adnate; the apices rounded. Petal venation consisting
of three primary longitudinal subparallel veins,
craspedodromous to camptodromous. Central disk circular,
bearing two orbicular ovaries or fruit bodies.
