Diagnosis
Leaves simple, ovate, asymmetrical, with broadly cuneate base, decurrent near the petiole and triangular blunt apex; margin entire. Venation palmate-pinnate, brochidodromous with four secondary veins, departing at an angle about 45—60°. Basal secondary veins departing from midvein a short distance above the margin at angle about 40°, straight, extending about ⅔ distance to apex, looping with adjacent pair of secondary veins, bearing 4—6 short branches, forming loops along the margin. Other pairs of secondary veins curved, diverge from midvein at angle about 50—60° in the upper third of the lamina, bearing 1—2 short lopping branches. Intercostal veins well-developed. Tertiary veins percurrent, branching or reticulate.
