Diagnosis
Leaf margin entire, elliptic to ovate, symmetric; apex short acuminate, base obtuse, or truncate. Venation acrodromous, five primary veins originating at the base; primary veins connected by sparse secondary veins, mixed opposite and alternate percurrent; tertiary and higherorder veins reticulate; free-ending ultimate veins unbranched. Leaf hypostomatic, epidermal cells irregularly shaped with sinuous anticlinal walls and papillate or tuberculate periclinal walls; stomata anomocytic.
