- Diagnosis
- Leaves simple, ovate-elliptic, with rounded base, 4 cm long, 2,5 cm wide.
Margin entire. Venation palmate-pinnate, brochidodromous, with 5—6 pairs of secondary
veins. Basal secondary veins departing from midvein above the leaf base at angle about
35—45°, weakly curved, extending about ½ distance to apex, looping with adjacent pair
of secondary veins, bearing 4—5 short branches. Other pairs of secondary veins curved,
diverge from midvein at angle about 45—60° in the middle and upper part of the lamina.
Secondary veins and their branches forming rounded loops a short distance before the
margin. Between these loops and the margin there are 1—2 additional rows of smaller
loops. Infrabasal veins diverge from midvein at right angle. Tertiary veins percurrent,
branching or reticulate.
