- Diagnosis
- Leaf margin entire, large, broadly ovate, base slightly
cordate, symmetric; suprabasal acrodromous venation, seven primary veins connected by subparallel pinnate secondary venation,
opposite or alternate percurrent; tertiary and higher-order
veins reticulate; free-ending ultimate veins unbranched. Leaf hypostomatic,
epidermis cells irregular, rectangular, and anticlinal walls
slightly sinuous or curved with smooth periclinal walls; stomata
anomocytic; trichomes are observed on both the adaxial and abaxial
epidermis.
