- Seeds elliptic or ellipsoidal in shape, and relatively small as compared to the previously reported fossil seeds; raphe ridge near the hilum area not prominent; germination cap circular in outline; seed coat relatively thin; and the palisade structure in the outer layer of the seed coat only weakly developed.
