- Diagnosis
- The leaf in this species is simple, symmetrical,
broadly elliptical or long-oval, with a preserved lamina
length between 4.1 and 11.12 cm, and a width between 2.3 and
5.5 cm; the apex is rounded, slightly retuse; margin entire; base
decurrently, basal angle acute (63°); venation pinnate, simple,
craspedodromous; primary vein straight, stout, and prominent
in the basal region narrowing towards the apex; secondary veins
numerous (c. 150 pairs), parallel, very closely placed (ca. 12 veins
cm−1), opposite or alternate, unbranched.
