- Diagnosis
- Frond at least bipinnate. Secondary linearlanceolate
pinnae, alternate, bearing sessile pinnules
usually falcate and slightly lobed. Fertile pinnules with
one sorus per lobe. Sori round, apparently exindusiate,
with stalked sporangia arranged in ring. Spores trilete,
radial, cingulated. Proximal surface with subtriangular
pad on each contact area; pads may be pitted or
comprising discrete or coalescent verrucae and muri.
Distal surface with foveo-reticulate pattern sculpture of
low, sinuous muri enclosing lumina.
