- Diagnosis
- Plant small, erect, with smooth, slender axes. Main axes pseudomonopodially and dichotomously branched. Some laterals pseudomonopodially branched to form second-order branches. Fertile branches isotomously divided three to eight times and terminated by sporangia. Sporangia grouped as fertile units; each unit with two, three or four sporangia. Sporangia lacking twisting, fusiform in shape, with longitudinal dehiscence. Homosporous.
