    non Zamiostrobus Endlicher (1836). The type of Zamiostrobus Endl., Z. macrocephalus (Lindley & Hutton) Göppert (Übers. Arbeiten Veränd. Schles. Ges. Vaterl. Cult. 1843: 128. 1844), was excluded from Schimper's new 'denomination' genus Zamiostrobus Schimp., nom. illeg.
