- Leaf blade typically ovate, occasionally asymmetrical base rounded or truncated, asymmetrically
decurrent, арех acuminate. Leaf serrate,
with the teeth of variaЬle shape, typically concave-concave
with acute арех, sometimes shortly rounded.
Venation pinnate. Midrib straight, or straight in proximal
part but slightly sinuous above. Basal veins as thick
as the midrib, typically craspedodromous, sometimes
camptodromous, branched basiscopically. Secondaries
about 9 pairs, the lower 2-3 pairs basiscopical\y
branched. Tertiaries fine, simple or forked. Cuticule radially
striated. Stomata anomocytic, with 5-6 subsidiary
cel\s. Upper leaf surface with spherical glands.
