variable in size and shape, petals 0, stamens 10, attached to the irregular margin of a flat disc in
the center of the flower, filaments short, thickened at the base, anthers erect or sharply recurved abaxially, bilocular with protruding thecae, thecae bearing variously sized setae, dehiscing by 2 dorsally
hinged lateral valves, connective apiculate, base of filament with 2 thin, elongate, perhaps
glandular appendages, pollen spherical, inaperturate, pistil 0, pistillate flowers
unknown.
