- Lycopsid axes with persistent leaves. Phyllotaxis lepidodendroid, with unclear orthosthichies. Leaf cushions oval to subrhombic, with lateral wings and a heel. Leaf lamina departing from the upper edge of leaf cushion. Ligular pit in the leaf axil. Parichnos absent.
