- Diagnosis
- Ovulate strobilus of uncertain length and 4 cm wide with bract-ovuliferous appendage complexes arranged in a loose helix; bracts extended, elongate-spatulate with acuminate tips and entire margins, 1.5-2.0 cm long and about 2.5 mm wide at the broadest point, gently tapering toward the base; ovuliferous appendage situated adaxially, narrow, about 0.5 mm wide, bearing 8-10 opposite ovules in two lateral rows, with micropyles directed outward; ovules not arillate, borne in the middle third of the area of the subtending bract.
