Endocarp thick, stony and tubercled. Germination valve occupying almost the entire dorsal margin. Seed curved around an indistinct internal process, arising about one sixth the length of the endocarp from the apex and extending about one fifth of the distance across the endocarp from the ventral margin. Lower lobe of the seed about five times larger than the upper lobe. Position of the internal process represented externally by a small indistinct, shallow depression situated near the ventral margin, in the apical sixth of the endocarp.
