- Diagnosis
- Primary axis elongated, with a two-ranked arrangement of bract-axillary complexes. Axillary complex consisting of a short axis on which scaly appendages are arranged in a compact helix. Seed stalks at axis apex in the same phyllotaxis as the sterile scales. Seed stalks long, dichotomously branching 1-3 times in different planes. At seed stalk ends are solitary seeds of Samaropsis type.
