Germination valve occupying the upper two thirds to the entire length, and one half to three quarters of the width of the dorsal margin. Seed curved around a distinct internal process arising about one fifth the length of the endocarp from the apex, and extending one third of the distance across the endocarp from the ventral margin. Lower lobe of seed about five times larger than the upper lobe. Position of the internal process represented externally by a small, deep and distinct depression situated near the ventral margin, in the apical fifth of the endocarp.
