Diagnosis
Leaves ovate, widest at midleaf or shortly below, broadly rounded at apex, rather gradually tapered to base; margin entire. Costa single, stout, reaching ca. 0.8 leaf length and abruptly ending. Laminal cells irregularly polygonal, rather small, thick-walled, in lower leaf to short-rectangular.
