- Diagnosis
- Leaves small, 5 cm long and 3.4 cm wide, rhombic, with a wedge-shaped base, with an acute elongated apex, serrated above the leaf base; the leaf margin entire at the base, but serrated from the middle. Teeth large, sparse, beak-shaped, with a long outer side and a short inner side. Venation trifoliate-palmate, pinnate, craspedodromous, midrib transverse, thinning towards the apex; the basal veins very thin, straight, departing at an angle of 30–35°, ending in teeth; left basal vein immediately after emerging from the base forks and both branches end in adjacent teeth; below the basal veins, another pair of weakly expressed basal veins departs. Secondary veins very thin, at least three pairs in number, depart at approximately the same angle
as the basal ones (there may have been more veins, but they are not visible in the imprint); they straight, almost parallel to each other, extend to the leaf margin without branching and end in teeth. Tertiary and quaternary venation not visible.
