- Diagnosis
- Fruit one-seeded drupe about 13 mm long, ellipsoid
to ovate, shortly beaked. Epicarp formed of ribbed urceolate cup with slender apical teeth. Mesocarp fibrous, forming an apical cone above the
cup. Endocarp hard, costate, minutely pitted. Germination pores, three,
occasionally five, opening at the base of the apical dome, incised into the
top of endocarp.
