- Small round seeds less than 5 mm in
diameter, without any appendices of spermoderm.
Main seed axis straight. Seed flattened. Spermoderm
surface longitudinally striated, striae formed by fine
ribs and furrows. The striae transformed into small depressions
located near seed apex. Depression size
0.1
mm in diameter or less (in average approximately
0.05 mm in diameter). There is longitudinal fold in the
middle part of the seed. The fold is represented by
ovoid depression on the seed imprint, and by a rib on
the seed compression. Peripherical submarginal parts
of the seed flattened due to sarcotesta deformation.
