- Diagnosis
- Spherical to subspherical body; thin, bilayered wall, outer thinner layer appearing as a "keel" at the margins, inner layer irregularly ridged, without a definite ridge pattern but with a microrugulate pattern superimposed on the larger irregular ridges; excystment is by means of a rounded pylome, bordered with an elevated rim, and double pylomes are common.
