- Diagnosis
- Bracts oppositely arranged along the main axis with obvious joints and internodes. Female parts axillary, more or less pedicellate, surrounded by narrow elongate scales, including a central unit and two surrounding envelopes. Central unit including a proximal oval body and an apical projection. Oval body locular, surrounded by a thin wall. An apicalprojection solid, long, exserted, with a truncated tip.
