  Karczewska & Kyanshep-Romashkina (in Acta Palaeontol. Pol. 24: 423. 1979) inadmissibly changed the type of the genus Mongolichara to M. gobica (Karcz. & Ziemb.-Tworz.) Karcz. & Kyans.-Romashk., suppressed into the synonymy of the species the original type species, M. deplanata Kyans.-Romashk.
