- Leaf ovate; base cordate and slightly asymmetrical; apex acuminate; margin
entire; texture coriaceous to subcoriaceous. Venation perfect acrodromous with a pair of acrodromous secondaries completely separate from one another and decurrent upon the midvein; tertiaries fine, transverse, slightly irregular in course; those in the upper two-thirds of the leaf forming distinct V on either side of the midvein.
