Diagnosis: Herbaceous plant with smooth axes and lateral sporangia. Sporangia rounded to slightly reniform, showing a dehiscence line, composed of two equal valves and borne at the end of very long stalks. Stalk abaxially curved so that the sporangium is brought back close to the axis. Spores, anatomy and branching unknown.
