Diagnosis
Seeds wedge-shaped or elongated-oval, apically not inflated; testa with medium-sized rectangular fields, 10-20 fields in a long series of the dorsal side. Micropyle and hilum basal on the edge or in a pit, approximated to each other. Raphe long, terminated immediately at the truncated end.
