- Diagnosis
- The main stems give rise to many branches about 10 μm in diameter. Lateral branches (about 5 μm in diameter) usually form many branches, or, less frequently, a few branches; they are in general widely oviform, round, semicircular, or, less often, oval. The forms under study are attached to substrate by a flattened rounded oval base, which looks in SEM photographs like a bottle-shaped structures or rounded flattened blotches greater than 50 μm in size.
