- Diagnosis
- Herbaceous plant, small, including physically connected roots, stem, leaves, and fructifications. Root minute, borne on the bottom of the plant. Stem straight, bearing helically arranged leaves. Leaves linear, entire margined, with a midvein and an acute tip. Fructification on a long pedicel. Fruits enclosing ovules/seeds, surrounded by foliar parts, with longitudinal ridges and wrinkled surface. Fructification pedicel with scaly leaves and longitudinal ridges.
