- Leaves narrow, ovate-lanceolate, equally pointed at both ends, 5–6 cm to 10–12 cm long, 0.8–1.1 cm to 1.3–2.2 cm wide, margins entire; petiole stout, up to 1.2 cm. in length. Midrib stout below, tapering above, often somewhat flexuous; secondaries numerous, sometimes as many as 10 to 20 alternate
pairs; branching from the midrib at angles of about 35–45º, parallel and camptodrome.
