Marasmiamimum cretaceum
Diagnosis
Distinguished from all other species of fossil mushrooms by the combination of the following features: plane pileus, thin pileal context and presence of lamellulae. It is most similar to Coprinites dominicanus Poinar and Singer (Poinar and Singer, 1990) but differs by distant lamellae and more numerous lamellulae.
