- Diagnosis
- flower about 12mm long and 12.7mm wide. Receptacle about 2.3mm in diameter, pentagonal in cross view. Sepals 3.6– 3.85mm long, 3.6mm wide, with a round tip and a 1.9mm-wide base. Petals 5–5.75mm long and 3.8– 4.2mm wide. Stamen preserved only as anthers. Anther tetrasporangiate, dithecate, about 370 mm wide and 218 mm high, lacking of obvious connective, with in situ pollen grain about 12.6–16.2 mm in diameter. Style 8.5mm long, 1.4mm wide, elongate, tapering distally, covered with hairs, of cells with straight wall. Ovary pentermaous, about 2.2mm in diameter, enclosing unitegmic ovules, with papilae on its inner wall.
