Diagnosis
Slender tree. Stem 3–6 cm diameter. Leaf bases present as cushions, rhomboidal, approximately 9 mm high, 15 mm wide, radially planar, with linear margins, angular lateral angles, curved upper and lower angles. Lateral line separates lower and upper cushion fields, spanning from lateral angle of leaf scar into lateral angle of cushion. Cushions may slightly imbricate their upper neighbor. Orthostichies and low angle parastichies present. Longitudinal ribs absent from stem surface. Leaf scar hexagonal, approximately 6.5 mm high, 10 mm wide, upper lateral margins convex, lower lateral margins concave, upper central margin horizontal to weakly dimpled, lower central margin rounded. Leaf scar located centrally and sunken shallowly into cushion. Leaf trace presents as horizontal line, approximately 1.0 mm wide and 0.2 mm high, located 4.5 mm above base of leaf scar. Foliar parichnos scars circular, raised, approximately 0.5 mm diameter, 2 mm apart, at same level as leaf trace. Ligule scar a circular dimple, indented, approximately 1 mm diameter, located 1.2 mm above top of leaf scar. Leaves linear, 5 mm wide at base, tapering gradually to 3 mm wide, median longitudinal ridge present. Reproductive material and rooting structure unknown.
