- Diagnosis
- Sepals with marginal rows of abaxial sessile glands. Stamens shorter than height of stigma. Anthers retuse with proximal spurs and connectives that extend slightly beyond pollen sacs. Pollen grains monadinous or occasionally in loose tetrads, linked by interconnecting (‘‘viscin’’) threads. Stylar head spherical with lateral circular depressions between stigma lobes.
